1] What do you think of the linked study?

2] From previous ansers in this thread you don't seem very.... enthusiastic about Flegr's work. Is this a common feeling among the legions of Toxo reseachers? I'm not trying to tear apart the toxo community here, but his work is frequently cited, at least in the popular reporting on the subject. These guys who show up in the public science world are not always the most reliable.

That said, I want to believe.
