My family left (not quite legally either...) Ukraine around 15 years ago and moved to Canada. Very big Ukrainian/Russian population in Toronto, though I suppose now it's not quite as friendly as it'd been.... errrr....

At least back then, it was a pretty good place to start up in. We worked our way up from zero.

Overpriced and not as many job opportunities or chances to move up either. At least, that's how it was a decade ago.

I have relatives who live there though, I will always love Canada. Ontario had the most beautiful parks I'd ever been to. But once things really started looking up in life we left for the US to continue pursuing the upward career streak.
