How do you feel about Grapples that are sold :n the US? (Apples that taste like grapes)

How important is calculus in terms of school curriculums in the age of smart phones? My local high school doesn't teach cursive as its just not used much today...I'd think that calculus would be a similar situation. Kids just take photos of math problems and an app gives them the answer. If that can be done, does the general high school (and college) population need calculus ?
