Semi-related question... Why do you think many Rand Paul supporters also support Bernie Sanders, and vice versa, even though they are completely, 100% at opposite ends of the political spectrum?

Thousands of books on Amazon here. Authors go this route because it's the best option for literally anything except for short (like <10k) 'books'. For most self published authors in the romance genre KU payouts make up like 50% of their profits, and Amazon has the largest marketshare by far. I have thousands of short erotic novellas alone and I haven't moved those wide (although I did stop producing them like all sane people after KU1 died), not only do i probably make more on KU payouts on the shorts than I would from the small amount of sales on other websites, but KU borrows boost your rank so without them your visibility will be trash on the only website that matters, Amazon.
