Jared. Aren't you tired after all your flights and everything you did the past days? How are you dealing with those periods without sleep and exhaustion? Any tips?

We had about forty hours of travel and twenty hours of flight time but we are so excited about this project adrenaline is getting us through it

What would you say the most rewarding experience of your career has been so far?

The journey of Thirty Seconds to Mars with my brother Shannon. He is a powerful performer and a true artist.

A Beautiful Lie was pretty special. It was amazing to shoot in the Arctic.

What's your BEST 4th of July memory from over the years?

Watching the fireworks after climbing Bears Lodge aka Devils Tower was pretty unforgettable.

Mauve... or taupe.

Has streaming media lived up to its promise for indie filmmakers and musicians? Has the removal of distribution gatekeepers been a good thing?

Yes has been a great thing and we are definitely moving toward a better future for artists. It's not what is should be, but it's getting there.

Do you guys plan on coming to play in Ireland again in the near future?

We hope so!

What compelled you to do this project?

What do you hope comes out of it?

When I was a kid I saw a book that National Geographic made where they hired photographers to shoot imagery of the USA over a single day. It made a big impact on me. When I was making this album certain themes kept coming up that made it clear there was an opportunity here to make a film like this.

Hello, how would you describe your career? would you say that you are a musician-actor, or an actor-musician?

I'm an artist

Where in the U.S have you not yet been to, but wish to visit someday?

I haven't been to the red river gorge or Zion. Both would be amazing!

All of us have bad days. What are you doing to avoid stress? And what gives you power to go on?

The faith that hard work and commitment will pay off

As someone who wants to better achieve goals, how do you go about having such determination and drive to accomplish what you put your mind too?

It helps if you are doing something you are passionate about because you are always going to come up against doubt and fear. The passion or love for what you are doing will help you stay committed or focused on the work that needs to be done.

Yes, will be leading the charge and joined by an incredible team of editors. There will be hundreds of thousands of hours of footage. Can't wait!

do you have any advice on what to film for those who live in small towns outside of america?

Small towns are incredibly important as their are so many of the hopes and dreams. Additionally, Answer the five questions and ask others the five questions.

Great question! We will choose the videos based on how compelling they are. It doesn't have to be the worlds most beautiful shot, it can be something incredibly revealing or inspiring. Thanks.

How do you see your day today? Do you use to do something particular on this day?

Yes we have about 150 people or more working on a day in the life of America plus thousands of people contributing their thoughts to the film so we are hunkered down at headquarters. I may escape at some point in the day and film something!
