It was painful to watch, his confusion was was entertaining prior to that, but the look on his face at that point you could really see his pain and desperation to be finished with it.

I would suggest trying a sensory deprivation tank, if you're in or near a decent sized city there's likely one nearby, I float every few months and really love it.
