How much is your station influenced by the fact that the Qatari royal family is funding you? They are really pro America and against countries who are openly hostile to western interference.

This fact is also why your network has lost a lot of face, would be great with your perspective on it.

How do you respond to Ali Hashem, a former journalist for Al Jazeera who claims that the Qatari agenda has too much influence on Al Jazeeras coverage, for example on the issue of the Bahraini protests, AJ was silent on the issue in the beginning of the revolt, and only later reported on it, since the Qatari royal family is so close to the Bahraini royal familiy.

I have to also differentiate between Al Jazeera english and arabic, with the english version being much more fair and nuanced, while the arabic version follows the Qatari agenda very closely.
