As someone who just came back from a semester abroad in Saitama, I can assure you that this is no longer the case. Western sushi is really starting to take off in Japan. Could have something to do with the younger generations fixation with American culture, but that is complete speculation.

What got you into sailing? Did you ever have another profession in mind?
