This is going to sound like a loaded question, but I promise it's not. I just want to hear the thoughts of a participant who has obviously gained a lot from them.

Why do you think pageantry is still relevant in today's society?

I don't know about Vienna, but where I am, they don't just let you continue getting fined every time you're caught. It becomes a criminal offense, so it's not really accurate to think about it that way.

How do you deal with the time difference inherent in covering events so far away? Does staying current in a fluid situation essentially require you to be nocturnal?
