I flew Aeroflot from UK to Thailand in 2008. Scariest experience of my life. They used an airbus to get me to Moscow... all good... Then they stick me on an old Russian Ilyushin plane that it turns out is banned from landing In the U.K. on safety grounds. Horrendous! The whole plane rattled and everyone on there was screaming in Russian, drinking bottles of spirits, and arguing with each other. You couldn't pay me to fly Aeroflot ever again....
