What about war movies? Do you enjoy them now (or did you before)?

What do you think of Black Hawk Down? One of my favorite movies of all time.

Not really. If someone is in a crowd and starts shooting people they could be overwhelmed by everyone running at them, tackling them, punching, choking kicking, them. Sure several will probably be shot, but they could easily be stopped (especially during a reload). People have to have the greater good, sheep dog, mentality, which is pretty hard to teach. Always look for improvised weapons if possible as well. Swarm techniques definitely work. One reason no one ever says this is because there would be a HUGE liability if a company or school district told people/students to do this and a few were killed in the process.

Same basic concept is taught to LE these days for active shooters. Immediately move in, swarm, and overwhelm the shooter. Same concept works when unarmed.
