you're a kid at 11. some topics are touchy or traditionally age-mediated so of course the presence of a small child in a classroom, no matter your maturity, will be a concern to some instructors. did they think that your age meant they had to alter their course plan in any way - was that ever an issue raised to you. how involved in these discussions were you or did you just know that they were taking place.

So, were you the kid in the corner that didnt talk but aced everything silently, or did you find it easy to participate in classroom conversation and contribute ideas. I imagine the other students wouldn't have taken kindly to being shown up by a pre teen.
