Its not only small police departments getting in the action. I'm a Border Patrol Agent and my station opened up a second checkpoint to try and seize more vehicles. This only takes agents out of the field, and unable to repond to actual human or drug smuggling traffic.

But hey, more money for the feds right!

How dissapointed were you when Will Ferrell got your old drumming gig?

As a Border Patrol Agent I can't understand why the FBI, NSA, and other agencies continue to do this. We would relish the opportunity to send someone from management up river for this sort of thing.

Fellow Agent here. I'm glad someone else has this viewpoint as well. The sooner everyone stops answering questions the sooner we can shut down the checkpoints, and get back to actual field work.
