Man, that is some buuuullshit from the mods at /r/askreddit. I really think that's enforcing the rules for the sake of the rules, instead of enforcing the rules to safeguard the nature of the sub/community. I think we can all agree that spam is shit and we don't want it, but anyone with more than two brain neurons firing at once can distinguish spam from a reddit-wide joke. They're totally missing the point of the rules, and now you can't contribute to askreddit (which is a shame, as you've shared several entertaining stories before).

I know all of this has gone through your head already. It just makes me angry and I needed to vent somewhere. Good job /r/askreddit mods.
