My favorite Mexican restaurant is in a strip mall with all Mexican owned businesses. They are packed for lunch and dinner and it's all Hispanic workers and a few "locals" mixed in. Their food is killer.

There is then a Mexican restaurant up the street and around the corner that is Tex-Mex at best. It's good if that is what you want and if you were to ask 10 people around here what the best Mexican food was, 9 would say the Tex-Mex place. Most people you ask about the other place and they either say that they never considered it or they didn't want to stop in because of where it was.

And a couple P38 can openers. I have an original WW2 made one and it is still working like a charm today.

I have to ask this. I used to work in a cell phone store off of a college campus that had about 5,000 Chinese students. They would flood into our store about 50 at a time and would all end up talking to one another in Mandarin mostly. Sometimes I would hear them say something similar to "nee-guh" or a word close to it which obviously sounds like the "social" form of the N-word. Your first time hearing this, if you have heard it, what was your reaction? I have always wanted to ask someone who was black, but the college campus I worked by didn't have too many black students.

$575 is chump change if it means I get to go home. Pay the money, go home and forget about that place. Seems pretty simple to me. They will forget about it ten minutes after the plane takes off.

My mom's idiot bosses will do this. 4 hour drive to Chicago and costing maybe $80 in gas? Nope, let's fly business class. Need to get from financial district in Manhattan to Midtown? Subway for $2.50? Fuck that, hire a sedan for $75.
