War is a racket. Nevertheless I respect troops on the ground; I just wish the political leadership reserved their use for legitimate threats to the country (which are extremely few and far between).

Anti-rejection drugs must be continually taken by organ transplant patients so that their immune systems don't attack and kill the foreign organs. However they aren't needed for medical implants as these are designed out of materials (like titanium) which are non-reactive and don't trigger any immune response.

They may have given you immunosuppressants during the procedure but you'd definitely know if you were still taking them - they have to be taken daily and are incredibly expensive!
