If you get a Bachelor's Degree first, you would join the military as a Commissioned Officer and start off making a lot more money per year as well as having your student loans paid off (depending on the amount obviously). I've recently been considering doing this since I got my degree 3 years ago and have been financially struggling ever since.

You can also join on a medical path and eventually get an M.D in the military and later if you decide to get out you can practice medicine away from the military.
