First thank you for taking time out of your day to do this. I feel you are uniquely qualified to answer my question. I'm currently a Baltimore City resident and I pay through the nose for property taxes. I'm told my taxes go to education and services, but when I look around my neighborhood there are no positive signs of either. If you don't live in Roland Park, most of the public schools are crap (with the exception of some of the public charters). I guess what I'm asking is this, why live in Baltimore City when the surrounding counties have lower taxes, better services, and less crime?

What advice do you have for balancing PowerPoint presentation (or the like) with the speech overall? Do you have any rules to follow?

I've seen presentations by high level leaders that are basically a transcript of what they're remarking on. While others just have an image (no text) about the section of their speech.
