No. SOME might offer cash for SOME prizes. Price never did, until recently. It's kind of a dirty way to keep your budget in check. The woman who won the $15,000 trip to South Africa? She declines it (hotel and airfare are actually considered separate prizes) and the show saves $15,000 (or whatever it actually costs them).

Who would turn down $15,000 minus taxes? No one.

If asked, would you do Only Connect? If so, would you want to compete on a regular episode or a Children in Need special?
