Because you've been writing the Kingkiller Chronicles for so long, do you ever feel creatively frustrated by not being able to branch out and work on different projects?

My boyfriend has had this same condition from birth, but he was always told by his doctors that any surgery done on his eyes would be purely cosmetic, because his brain never formed the pathways necessary for them to actually work together (i.e. see in 3D).

Were you ever told the same thing? Also what kind of surgery did you get?

In your opinion, why has Al Jazeera managed to maintain a relatively high level of journalism and credibility while other news sources (especially within the US) have trended more towards yellow journalism?
