Gov. Johnson, if you don't get the Republican nomination, would you consider seeking the nomination of the Libertarian Party (or any Third Party for that matter)?

You mention in your book that people seem to react more strongly to stories about dogs being killed by police than about people being killed by police.

To what is that attributable? Is it a general thought that the police must've had a reason to go after that person, so therefore they played a role in their own demise (similar to the "She was wearing a short skirt, she was asking for it" mindset)? Or is it something more?

Libertarians seem to be seen, both from the left and from the right, as a huge danger with absurd measures of control, despite a lack of political power with only a few libertarian-leaning representatives and Senators. Do you think that's out of worry that libertarianism may be the future of politics, or out of seeking a scapegoat?
