I think it was a serious comment. You can be clinically dead and be "brought back to life" with CPR and chest compressions. It happened to me when I was a kid and I drowned, I was "dead" for a few minutes before being CPR'ed.

You're not lucky, you were very unlucky but not extremely unlucky. I don't get why people think surviving near-death experiences is lucky. Luck would be this not happening to you in the first place.
