What's the real reason The Doors didn't play Woodstock?

Yea I heard lots of rumors, and thanks for giving me the straight truth. I didn't think they would be asked, considering it was all peace, love, & happiness and well... The Doors were not that. Lol they seemed ahead of their time and on whole other trip.
