I'd just like to thank you for being such a supporter of my mother over the years - she reached out to you with an email a few years ago just looking for a friend, unaware of your legendary status in Canadian sports media. Over the years the two of you have communicated regularly and she has come to view you as a close friend. Sometimes she shows me an email from you and I'm always blown away by the thoughtfulness and warmth of your notes to her. Despite the fact that to this day I don't think she has ever seen your show, she might be your biggest fan.
