In all fairness, the people, and the electoral college have voted obama in twice while running on a platform advocating obamacare.

The last figures i checked still show majority support for it, so why is it right to hold the nation hostage demanding it be repealed when democratically, its what the people want?

Thanks for responding. I understand its just a staredown/gridlock situation. But isn't just freezing everything so no one can get anything done sort of counterproductive?

What i was really hoping to find out is how you think that standoff might be broken, what compromise might be possible, or how would you go about trying to find one?

I'll be the first to admit i dont know much about the internal politics on the hill, but it seems like there must be a better option.
