Hi! I work in marketing (Boo!) but I spend a lot of time helping non-profit startups, which is super fun. I had an idea for a competition and was wondering if you had any suggestions.

I was thinking of starting a competition where groups of young engineers try to solve real word problems in a given time period. Basically, we would ask you (MSF) what the five biggest problems you have in the field that require physical solutions(i.e. not an app).

We would them take these problems and give them to teams of young engineers and designers, giving them (for example) five weeks to solve whichever one of the problems they had a novel idea for.

We would then have you guys judge which one fits your needs the best and then we would put it into production.

Is this idea even remotely interesting to you guys?
