With so many characters turning out not to be how they seem (Ezra, Mona etc.), how do you balance a) not telling actors about future developments and plot twists and b) having their portrayals be genuine and true to the characters?

Interesting. Yeah if were playing, say, Ezra, I'd probably want to know about his research operation as soon as the writers did, and then keep the secret. Suppose that's pretty hard to do in a social media-crazed world though haha
