Interesting titbit about the word penguin (well, to me anyway). Penguin is one of the few Welsh words in the English language. It is derived from Pen Gwyn which means White Head.

Very similar to here in the UK. A friend of mine got contacted at Uni along with a few other students and was invited to a luncheon with Sir Richard Dearlove and some other senior MI6 people. It all sounded very exciting, but he went for the lunch and never took it any further.
