Just bought Cabin in the Woods and am about to watch it tonight. Thanks for coming to do this AMA. Some questions:

Where is the sequel to Cloverfield currently at in pre-production?

Who would you love to work with on a film?

What do you consider to be your biggest influences?

As a film student, i always ask the filmmakers: What digital tools/apps do you use?

Also, what is the best advice you can give to young filmmakers/screenwriters?

Met you when you came to Temple University about 2 years back. World of Jenks is hands down one of the best shows on MTV.

Where would you like to see your career going? Would you like to continue to do World of Jenks while making features or just stick to the show?

Also, what caused the lull between the seasons? Was it simply due to filming or due to MTV not sure if they wanted to go forward?

What was your marketing strategy with the Kickstarter? How did you manage to reach such a wide audience?

I know what you mean with the doc thing. I am a film student and had no intention of doing docs, but sort of fell into it. I think docs are a good way to start off filmmaking. If you can craft a story from real life events and make it compelling, shooting a narrative should be much simpler.
