Do you feel the popularity of (user generated) sites like reddit are a threat to (older style) blogs like BoingBoing?
Until a few years ago I visited Boingboing on a daily basis. It was my go-to-site for anything weird, interesting, funny. These days I get it mostly from Reddit, and I see some of the bloggers on Boingboing do too!
