Cool, thanks for the answer! Did you use any sort of lighting from the front? I don't really have any lighting tools, just a DSLR and some good lenses.
I'm wondering if it could be done by exposing for the 'flare' and then fixing up the foreground through RAW/Lightroom. Seems like a sloppy way of doing it, though..?

If you expose for the background, wouldn't you just get a washed out window or something with a black silhouette of the model?
