When you have allergies who do you call? I know all too well how painstaking it can be to deal with allergies. Allergies are a major cause of illness in the US affecting up to 30-40% of the population, adults and children suffering with symptoms of seasonal or perennial hay fever, asthma, eczema, and other allergic diseases. Going to a doctor's office twice a week for allergy shots is both expensive and inconvenient for millions of suffering Americans. That led me to look into alternative modes of immunotherapy treatments. This Allergy Awareness Month, I want to share with you all what my team and I created with Nocturnal Vestibular Immunotherapy. A result of 15 years of experience, clinical observations, this treatment takes advantage of the dendritic cell rich vestibular space of your mouth and of the changes induced by sleep in the circadian cycle of the immune system inducing a faster and more efficient tolerance and symptom relief.

Hello Dr. As someone who owns a cat but is allergic to it's saliva, would this be a way for me to avoid getting itchy eyes and a runny nose all the time?

AllergyPhysician-9 karma

DEFINITELY YES, THIS INTERVENTION WOULD INDUCE TOLERANCE TO THE ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO CAT, IT WILL AMELIORATE OR ELIMINATE THE SYMPTOMS AFTER EXPOSURE.

It is available now with Rx from the PCP and a valid skin test for allergies. The drops are based on positive skin test. Dr. Garcia

I’m currently itching and breaking out into hives right now, actually! Would this work for the common laundry-triggered allergies? Years ago I had a HORRIBLE reaction to Downy with dinner plate sized rashes for over a week, and I suspect it’s from formaldehyde. I’ve been sensitive to laundry products ever since.

AllergyPhysician1 karma

THESE MORE THAN LIKELY REPRESENT CONTACT URTICARIA WHICH INVOLVES AN IMMUNE MECHANISM THAT WOULD NOT RESPOND TO THIS KIND OF TREATMENT. . YOU WILL NEED TO AVOID THE OFFENDING ALLERGENS ON A PERMANENT BASIS.

Second question, do the drops have a similar chemistry as the shots do or are they formulated differently?

Asked another way, is this more of a change in treatment methodology with existing FDA approved drugs rather than a new formulation/drug entirely?

AllergyPhysician3 karma

THE DROPS HAVE SIMILARITIES TO THE COMPOSITION OF SERUMS FORMULATED TO TREAT ALLERGIES WITH SHOTS. WE USE THE VESTIBULAR SPACE OF THE MOUTH THAT HAS HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF DENDRITIC CELLS AND THE TREATMENT IS ADMINISTERED AT BEDTIME TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE IMMUNE CHANGES IN THE CIRCADIAN CYCLE OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM.

Hello Dr. Roberto!

I'm curious, as someone who suffers from hives related to a dust mite allergy, along with seasonal pollens that cause nasal drainage and itchy/sore throat and eyes, do these drops work for all typical allergy symptoms? I have been told by my doctor that the shots only work for seasonal allergies and not my much more severe and year round hives, does this differ from that?

AllergyPhysician1 karma

OUR PROTOCOL INCLUDES EXTRACTS OF POLLENS, HOUSE DUST MITES, COCKROACHES , POLLENS OF GRASSES, TREES AND WEEDS. IT IS EFFECTIVE FOR ALL ALLERGENS AS DETERMINED VIA SKIN TESTING.

AllergyPhysician0 karma

MOST CASES OF CHRONIC SPONTANEOUS URTICARIA ARE NOT ALLERGIC, THEY REPRESENT AN AUTOIMMUNE PHENOMENA AND THE TREATMENT IS VERY DIFFERENT. IN MOST CASES THE USE OF XOLAIR RESOLVES THE SYMPTOMS.

AllergyPhysician0 karma

OUR PROTOCOL IS EFFECTIVE FOR THE TREATMENT OF ALLERGY TO EXTRACTS OF POLLENS OF GRASSES, WEEDS AND TREES, SPORES OF MOLDS, CATS AND DOG EMANATIONS AS WELL AS HOUSE DUST MITES.

In previous skin-prick tests, I react to basically everything but the control. I've completed a year of allergy shots with no relief. Would your new method provide something old-school allergy shots wouldn't?

AllergyPhysician1 karma

YES, IT IS WORTHWHILE, WITH OUR PROTOCOL WE ARE ACCESSING A DIFFERENT PATHWAY OF IMMUNE PROCESSING AND IN OUR HANDS SEVERAL PATIENTS THAT FAILED ALLERGY SHOTS RESPONDED WITH OUR PROTOCOL.

AllergyPhysician-1 karma

YES, WE WITH OUR PROTOCOL WE ACCESS A DIFFERENT PATHWAY OF IMMUNE MODULATION, HAVE SUCCEEDED IN MANY CASES OF SHOTS FAILING TO CONTROL SYMPTOMS.WE USE BEDTIME ADMINISTRATION AND THIS ENHANCES THE IMMUNE PROCESSING INCLUDING OTHER FACTORS SUCH AS MELATONIN , A SLEEP HORMONE THAT IMPACTS IMMUNE SYSTEM IN A CONSISTENT FASHION.

AllergyPhysician-1 karma

OUR PROTOCOL USES A DIFFERENT AFFERENT PATHWAY TO ACHIEVE TOLERANCE TO ALLERGENS . SHOTS FAILURE IS DEFINITIVELY AN OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE THE DROPS A CHANCE. DURING THE PANDEMIC WE ID OFFER OUR SHOT PATIENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONTINUE IMMUNOTHERAPY WITH DROPS AND IT WORKED VERY WELL NOT ONLY MAINTAINING THE BENEFITS OF SHOTS BUT IN MANY CASES INDUCING FURTHER IMPROVEMENT.

moosepers0 karma

What severity of allergic reactions does this work against?

AllergyPhysician1 karma

ALLERGIC RHINITIS, BRONCHIAL ASTHMA AND ATOPIC DERMATITIS. FAR SAFER THAN ALLERGY SHOTS.

AllergyPhysician-2 karma

When confronted with scit failure after one year of allergy shots, it is fair to consider the use of this modality. we are accesing a different afferent route for immunotherapy and on several cases we have succeded after scit failure.

you can look up abstracts published on JACI and ANNALS OF ALLERGY AND IMMUNOLOGY for the last 3 years. will happy to share that info with you. [email protected], SEND US YOU EMAIL.

our experience is very positive in terms of safety. we have had few reactions that have happened in the office after the first dosage is administered, all of them mild with local discomfort. We have not recorded any anaphylaxis after 5 years of usage in the office. occasionally we see reactions midterm and the patients have decided to continue treatment. If the avoidance and elimination interventions necessary to mitigate the HDM exposures reactions may occur and they are akin to the local reactions we see with scit.
