I love Super hero movies. Favorites would be Batman and Xmen.

Hi Ramon, you're a great actor in my opinion and I've seen all of your work. Have you heard any possibilities on FOX reconsidering the cancellation of Gang Related?

Unfortunately I haven't. But the support and love from the fans has been crazy! Maybe another network will pick it up...lots of unanswered questions. Either way I'm grateful...amazing experience with a great group of people.

How did it feel to be cast in such a prolific show like The Wire, but be cast as a gay gangster?

Honored. Had no idea in the beginning how special the show was since I didn't see it before I got cast on the show. Then went back to watch the series and couldn't believe how brilliant it was. Have never read scripts that good since...I saved all of them.

When did you first know you wanted to become an actor? Kira

I didn't think I was ever going to be an actor. I got into the business through Nike commercials where I did tricks with a basketball...

If you really want it go after it 150% and be willing to fail and get back up again. Nothing worthwhile comes easy and anything is possible

Do you like old classic movies? If so, which are your favorites & why? :-)

Love classic films...and foreign. Recently saw Valentin and it is one of my favorite films. But love classic films like Godfather & Goodfellas. I have a long list of films I like...depends the genre and time period.

What is the best acting advise you've ever received?

Take Fountain. (Los Angeles people will appreciate this)

How I miss seeing you on Gang Related! We are ALL so upset about the show not being renewed! Do you know how it all would gave come down if renewed? Could you tell us anything to give us closure?

I miss it too believe me! I know only a little about what the next season was going to be about but can;t give any spoilers just in case...

What was it like working with Cliff Curtis?

He was amazing. Great to work with him and learn from him. He's a chameleon and we did a lot of work together on the craft. Love him dearly

I'm working on Directing my screenplay now that I wrote with Rosie Perez. Hope to be in production by next year.

What would you say that your greatest life achievement has been so far and what is the one thing you would like to achieve in the future?

Being able to write and respond to people like you. Thank you for your support! Would love to start my own foundation to work with inner city kids. I currently work with Urban Arts Partnership and would one day love to have my own.

Ramon, how many languages do you speak & what other ones would you like to know? :)

Speak Spanish and English only...would love to learn French...love the way it sounds

Hi Ramon, are you a morning or a night person? What scares you? When was the last time you laughed really, really hard?

I'm a night person. Greed & Power scare me. I laughed to tears couple of weeks ago when a friend re-enacted a story about how this huge dog humped his back and he couldn't do anything about it.

What's something you do to help others which gives you much satisfaction?

I enjoy playing the piano and congas. Love music for sure...recently saw The Wu Tang Clan, The Black Keys and The Weeknd. Awesome week of music...oh then went to the Met Opera haha

1. Have fingers as long as your legs or legs as long as your fingers?

2. Have a dragon or be a dragon?

3. Stand barefoot on an iceblock for 20 min or be tickled on your bare feet for 20 min?

Hi Ramon! First of all, thank you so much for doing this, so glad you decided to take time out to talk to all of us. So you are interested in writing and directing, in addition to acting. What is your film about? Which of the above (acting, directing, writing) do you enjoy most?

Both. Writing and Directing are huge passions of mine and hope to be in production by next year. It's loosely based on my childhood growing up in New York City and Puerto Rico. It's a father son story.

The pictures you post on Instagram and Twitter are so beautiful. What is your favorite thing to photograph?

Life: places, people, nature. Love to travel and capture a moment whenever possible but also don't like to look at life through a lens. Try to enjoy the moment then if I have time I'll snap a shot.

Hi Ramon! What do you do to get you through a long workday? Any certain music or foods to keep your batteries charged? Saludos from Central Cali :)

Love to put on some jazz or classical. Food is key when working a lot...try to eat healthy but I've named my inner chubby person (Moncho). He loves food and I have to keep him happy

I see you love to play piano, so do I! Is there any particular type of music you like to play?

Classical if I'm feeling moody. R&B soul if I need something for my soul and Journey if I want to have fun

i feel like the characters in the wire were some of the most real characters ever created. They all had their flaws. Did you get that same sense being on the show?
